Our school is temporarily moving to eLearning today, Thursday, May 12, because of a continued power outage from last night’s storm. Security and electrical systems, including lighting and air conditioning, are not functioning.
During this e-Learning day, students will stay home and use their school-provided device to learn. Your child’s teacher(s) will connect with your family on further details soon.
If your student is also experiencing difficulty with electricity and is unable to turn on their device or connect online because of last night’s storm, their absence will be considered excused.
Unless notified otherwise, students will be expected to attend school in person tomorrow, Friday, May 13, as planned. Stay tuned to district279.org for the latest info. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility with this news.
