Hello Pirate families,
We are so excited for the start of the 2021-22 school year at Park Center Senior High School. Our first day of school is Wednesday, Sept. 8. School begins at 7:30 am. Students will start their day in advisory, where their finalized class schedule will be distributed, and then attend periods 1-7. Advisory teacher names and room numbers will be posted in the café.
As a reminder, staff, students in early childhood through grade 12 and visitors will be required to wear a face covering/mask inside school during first trimester (Sept. 8 – Dec. 6). The school board voted on and approved this requirement at a special meeting Aug. 20.
The modification to the 2021-22 back-to-school plan was made by the school board after its review of district, county, state and federal COVID-19 information, the district’s COVID-19 preparedness plan and its decision-making framework. The district’s commitment to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all students, staff and community visitors was stressed.
