Park Center Senior High hosts first in-person Historically Black College and University fair

On Wednesday, March 8, Park Center Senior High, in partnership with One2One, hosted the school’s first in-person HBCU College & Career Fair. More than 80 families talked with HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) alumni and reps about their campuses, programs, and educational opportunities.

In addition to HBCUs, students and families were able to learn more about scholarship opportunities, local community colleges with transfer pathway programs, and trade career options.

Superstar Dj Ed Ski added musical energy to the excitement and student experience.

“It was nice. I was informed on the opportunities I had for scholarships, and they told me the best things I can do right now that will put me in a position to get a scholarship my senior year," said sophomore Aaron Dungy.
