District 279 Foundation news: grant requests open, 5K fundraiser coming soon

The District 279 Foundation is ready to make a meaningful impact and kick off another exciting school year of support and partnership with Osseo Area Schools. District 279 Foundation’s grants program provides learning opportunities for scholars in Osseo Area Schools by funding programs, projects and other opportunities that are not currently funded through the district's budget. Any district employee, school volunteer or community member can apply. Applications are open now through to March 31. For more information on guidelines and to get started on a grant for your scholars’ school, visit the Classroom Grants information on the District 279 Foundation website. 

One way the District 279 Foundation raises funds includes the upcoming Reading is Fun 5K. This event takes place Saturday, Sept. 21. Learn more and register for the event!
